Get Involved

Donations, large and small, allows SCIP to continue its life saving work with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. Because of your support, SCIP is able to offer a comprehensive array of services that create help and healing.

Social Media

Like us on Facebook and help us to raise awareness in our communities, schools and workplaces!

Accountability

In personal situations, hold the abusive person, not the victims, accountable for their abusive behaviors.

Awareness

Raise awareness about domestic violence by scheduling a speaker at your community groups, schools or other civic groups.

Careers

Want to work for SCIP? While we're not always hiring, we are always keeping our eyes out for people that have a passion for SCIP's mission. If you think you would be the right fit for our organization, please contact us.

Volunteer!

SCIP has some very loyal and hard-working volunteers that help with fundraisers, office work, the crisis line, and more. If you have a specific skill set and/or talent, we likely have a job that's perfect for you.  Or maybe you just want to invest your time and energy to a worthy cause.  We'd love to have you!

Help with Fundraisers and Awareness Events

Do you like to plan events for a worthy cause and have fun doing it? You can help plan and decorate for SCIP's annual fundraiser.  If you are interested, contact Amanda at (308)284-8477.

Presentations and Trainings

The professionals at SCIP spend many hours presenting and speaking to area schools, church groups, organizations and the public. We would be happy to come to your event/group/gathering and discuss topics like bullying, teen dating violence, cyberbullying, domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and other related topics. Our interactive presentations are eye-opening and inspiring. Book a date by contacting Kathleen or Amanda at (308)284-8477, or join us during one of our upcoming presentations to see us in action.

Join the Board

SCIP has been very fortunate to maintain a loyal and very involved Board of Directors through the years.  However, we're always in search of more individuals that have a desire to be a part of something great.

SCIP covers 6 counties in southwest Nebraska (Keith, Arthur, Deuel, Perkins, Grant and Garden).  We are always looking for potential Board Members within our home county (Keith), but we are also always in search of potential Board Members to represent our outlying counties (Arthur, Deuel, Perkins, Grant and Garden). Due to the transportation strain, the Board of Directors will work with potential Board members in outlying counties to facilitate some teleconference techniques for remote meeting attendance.

The SCIP Board of Directors typically holds a regular meeting once a month, with non-regular meetings held as-needed.  While the time commitment is minimal, the impact you'll have on your community is immense.

Call us today at (308)284-8477 to receive a Board application or inquire further about the Board of Directors.
